Matt Daniels

Matt Daniels is a Director of Leadership and Organizational Development with HCA Healthcare’s Leadership Institute. He’s been with HCA for just over 1.5 years and is responsible for professional, leadership and organizational development initiatives supporting the company’s Operations and Service Lines Group (OSG). Matt has nearly 18 years of professional experience spanning education, coaching, government contract and risk-management consulting, and sales/operations. His areas of expertise include facilitation, curriculum design and coaching.

Prior to joining HCA, Matt managed operations and sales initiatives for a start-up hearing technology company. Prior to that, he spent 9 years as a secondary education teacher and coach in two of the most prestigious public-school systems in the country. Throughout that time, he served as a successful high school football head coach for 4 years (an assistant for 5) and taught Advanced Placement Psychology, Marketing, US History, and Leadership Development. Prior to becoming an educator, Matt spent 6 years as a consultant in Washington, D.C., mainly assisting clients in the assessment of their exposure to possible corruption violations in high-risk geographies.

Matt holds a Master of Education from the University of North Texas as well as his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Wake Forest University. Matt and his wife Lindsey reside in Franklin and have 3 daughters (Mackenzie- 5 , and twins Samantha and Keeley- almost 2) and a boxer dog named Frankie.
