Dr. Josh Hammonds is a tenured professor at Rollins College and teaches in the Crummer Graduate School of Business. With a PhD in Organizational Communication, he conducts research and teaches courses on Leadership, Team Collaboration, and Persuasion.
Dr. Hammonds’ field research focuses on predicting Employee Engagement by identifying which factors motivate employees to work at their full potential in this changing workplace landscape. His research findings have helped build Employee Engagement assessment products used currently by HR Tech and SaaS companies.
Dr. Hammonds has also developed and delivered workshops for front-line managers at organizations across multiple sectors–including Uber, FedEx-DataWorks, and Darden Restaurants–that focus on the science and strategies around Employee Engagement. He is the founder of The Leader Prompt, Inc., a consulting group that takes a science-forward approach to actionable leadership practices.
