Casey Norris serves as the Manager of Enterprise Performance for TVA and has been leading TVA’s Financial Services Performance Excellence activities since 2014. During this time, Financial Services received TNCPE’s Level Two Commitment Award in 2015 and the Level Three Achievement Award in 2017. Casey leads Financial Services Performance Excellence Committee which is comprised of leaders from each Business Unit in Financial Services and is responsible for reviewing the Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) identified in TNCPE feedback reports, making recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team on which OFIs to pursue, and developing initiatives to close the gaps. Additionally, the Committee is responsible for completing the annual update of the Financial Services Organizational Profile and conducting the Financial Services Annual Internal Customer Survey process. Other Performance Excellence initiatives Casey has helped to implement in Financial Services include the creation of the Financial Services Continuous Improvement Council which is responsible for igniting innovation at the grassroots level and finding unique ways to engage employees in continuous improvement activities and sharing of best practices; and the Financial Services Gold Standard Documentation Process which encompasses the mapping of all of Financial Services key work processes and the identification and tracking of the key performance indicators (KPIs) for each, as well as identifying OFIs within these processes based on KPI results.
Casey has served on the TNCPE Board of Examiners from 2016 – 2019. She earned the Master Examiner title in 2018 and helped pilot the new Level 1 application process as a Master Examiner Coach in 2018-2019. Most recently, Casey received the TNCPE Katie Rawls Champion of Excellence Award in 2021.
