A3 | Scouting for Solutions: Problem Solving as a Team

The best ideas for improvement don’t live in spreadsheets—they live with the people doing the work. This interactive breakout focuses on how leaders and managers can spark curiosity, ownership, and momentum for improvement by involving employees directly in solving the problems they face every day.

You’ll be introduced to the “Fabulous 7” quality tools, along with practical favorites like the 5 Whys and the A3, not as technical exercises but as simple ways to help teams think together, tell the story of a problem, and uncover what really matters. These tools create a shared language that makes improvement less intimidating and more collaborative.

Through real-world examples and facilitated discussion, you’ll learn how to turn everyday frustrations into opportunities for engagement, learning, and progress—and how to build a culture where employees feel empowered to speak up, experiment, and drive meaningful change.
