A2: A Focus on Vision Attainment

The Baldrige business model has been a critical part of Mid-America Transplant’s continued improvement and ability to save and heal more lives.  Through cycles of learning, Baldrige provided the framework to refine Mid-America Transplant’s long-term vision, allowing the organization to collaborate and communicate more effectively with their workforce and stakeholders about where the organization is headed and how the vision will be attained.  This improvement led to more transparent deployment of the long-term strategic plan and created a deeper sense of engagement among various stakeholder groups.
